I always find it difficult to find jeans that I like, and usually give up in a fit of depression because everything looks so horrible. However the gods must have taken pity on the day I walked into the Guess store. Either that or the Malaysian shop assistant, appalled with my gym gear get up, bootleg tights, red t-shirt and puffy jacket, must have decided I was in desperate need of a makeover. Not convinced with the pair of black jeans with leather inserts, he managed to convince me to give another pair a go and got me to try on a pair of skinny leg jeans from the Guess Premium range, and I managed to find a pair that not oinly fit but look good. I love the prominent gold button, the gold and white detailing on the pockets, and the dark colour serves well to hide a multitude of sins. They are long enough to wear with boots or turned up with flats (although I'm not sure I'm fashion forward enough to fold them up to the knees as the shop assistant suggested. I'm wrapped!
Also seems to work well with the river island crumpled denim shirt I bought a few months ago, creating a double denim look. Perhpas the look is a bit old already but I think I can strech it out for a bit of autumn. Lumber jack hat (Beijnkorf) and scarf (Esprit) are from previous seasons.
